On the afternoon of May 23, 2019, doctoral candidate Mr. Salhabi, Esmail Husein M successfully passed the Doctoral Thesis Defense with an excellent grade. The Thesis Defense was hold in Meeting Room 304, Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese academy of Sciences.
Mr. Esmail's Doctoral Thesis with the title of “Hollow Multi-shelled TiO2 Structures as sulfur carriers and their Application in Li-S Battery” is a novel research topic, comprehensive literature, clear intellectual objective, and reasonable experimental design. The data are very informative and well organized. During the process of thesis defense, Mr. Esmail was confidently stated and answered the given questions accurately, which reflecting his strong basic and professional knowledge in his specific research field, with possessing the ability to independently engage in scientific research.
The Defense Committee with secret ballot, have agreed to pass the doctoral thesis defense and proposed to award him doctorate in engineering.
